Verification submitted
The provider has sent through its details and is currently being reviewed.
What it does not mean
It does not mean verification is approved yet. Customers should still check details before hiring.
Verified
WashMerit has checked core business identity, public details, and baseline trust information.
What it does not mean
It is not a guarantee of workmanship, availability, price, or a damage-free outcome.
Verified commercial
The provider has also shown public or verified fit for commercial and managed-property workflows.
What it does not mean
It does not replace site-specific due diligence such as live insurance dates, RAMS, access plans, or buyer approvals.
What we review for verification

Evidence before enquiry
The right proof depends on the surface, access, and buyer risk.
Generic directories often show reviews and badges without explaining whether the proof fits the actual job. WashMerit asks customers to bring the surface, access, method, document, and repair-boundary details that make a 2 to 3 provider shortlist safer to compare.
Surface and method proof
For roofs, render, block paving, patios, and driveways, ask for examples from the same surface and contamination type before treating a gallery as relevant proof.
Access and safety context
Height, ladders, water access, runoff, public footpaths, fragile tiles, and shared entrances can change who is suitable even when two providers list the same service.
Commercial document readiness
Managed sites may need live insurance evidence, RAMS, out-of-hours planning, resident notices, or buyer sign-off before a provider can be considered ready for the job.
Cleaning versus repair boundaries
Gutters, fascia, soffits, roofs, pointing, and block paving can reveal repair issues. Confirm what is cleaning, what is excluded, and what would need a separate trade.

Should I treat a claimable profile as checked?
No. A claimable profile is useful for discovery, but it is still based on public listing details. Ask the provider to confirm insurance, methods, similar work, and any commercial documents before booking.
What should I check before requesting quotes?
Match the provider to the surface, method, and location first. For roofs, render, cladding, or commercial sites, also ask about access, runoff, RAMS or insurance evidence, and what proof is still only provider-claimed.
Why does WashMerit prefer 2 to 3 matches?
A narrow shortlist lets the request focus on service fit, local coverage, method risk, and visible proof gaps instead of turning the job into a broad lead blast.
Does verified mean the job is guaranteed?
