WashMerit

Trust and reviews

See what each profile status means before you hire.

We separate unclaimed profiles, profiles under review, and verified profiles so customers can understand what has actually been checked.

Claimable listing

A public listing built from public web data. The provider has not yet completed WashMerit's verification process.

What it does not mean

It does not mean WashMerit has checked insurance, workmanship, reviews, or commercial readiness.

Verification submitted

The provider has sent through its details and is currently being reviewed.

What it does not mean

It does not mean verification is approved yet. Customers should still check details before hiring.

Verified

WashMerit has checked core business identity, public details, and baseline trust information.

What it does not mean

It is not a guarantee of workmanship, availability, price, or a damage-free outcome.

Verified commercial

The provider has also shown public or verified fit for commercial and managed-property workflows.

What it does not mean

It does not replace site-specific due diligence such as live insurance dates, RAMS, access plans, or buyer approvals.

What we review for verification

  • Business identity, trading details, and matching public contacts
  • Website or Google Business Profile
  • Service areas and service categories
  • Insurance and commercial-capability inputs where claimed
  • Proof surfaces such as galleries, methods, and supporting documents

How reviews and complaints are handled

  • Review moderation and dispute handling
  • Public status labels for unclaimed, under-review, and verified profiles
  • Complaint handling when a customer raises a serious issue
  • Review responses from providers where appropriate
  • Ongoing updates if a profile becomes stale or inaccurate

Different from generic directories

Trust is shown as evidence and limits, not just badges.

WashMerit should help customers see what is known, what is still being checked, and what should be confirmed directly before a job starts.

Status labels are separated

A claimed profile, a profile under review, and a verified profile are shown as different states instead of being blended into one vague trust badge.

Quote routing stays narrow

WashMerit is built around shortlists of 2 to 3 likely-fit providers, not broad lead blasting to anyone who buys the lead.

Proof gaps stay visible

If a provider has not supplied evidence for a claim, the profile should not present that claim as verified.
